Holenderski producent chciał pokazać, że tego typu montaż można wycenić znacznie niżej, niż robi to konkurencja. Model nosi nazwę P75 - Trident Direct Friction Drive Telescope Mount. Sprzęt ma nośność ocenioną aż na 75kg. Maksymalna prędkość goto to 15° kątowych, ale producent zaleca połowę tej wartości. Montaż waży 40kg i może pracować tylko w trybie EQ. 

PE 3" (16 min. ) i 8" (24h).

Enkodery absolutne 23 lub 24b.

Wygląda ładnie i obiecująca, ale Teleskop Spezialisten podaje informację, że wycofał się z dystrybucji sprzętu, ponieważ chce mieć pewność, że sprzedaje montaż, z którego nabywca będzie w 100% zadowolony. Niestety nie wyjaśnia co dokładnie było powodem rezygnacji ze współpracy z JTW.

 

To, co rzuca się w oczy, to konieczność blokowania DEC i AZ kluczem imbusowym, inne montaż mają zwykle pokrętła.

Model Trident, którym rozpocząłem ten temat będzie dostępny w wersji Pro. Pierwsza partia jest do kupienia w cenie 6995€, kolejne 1000€ drożej. Montaż o napędzie bezpośrednim cechuje bardzo dobry stosunek udźwigu (75kg) do ceny. 

-Głowica waży 35 kg,

-zbudowana jest w całości z aluminium lotniczego

-producent zapewnia bezluzową i przy tym szybką pracę- 15° kątowych śledzenia

-enkodery absolutne z rozdzielczością 0,02"

Introducing the JTW ANT - A 5 kg ultra-portable, compact powerhouse capable of unguided imaging.

Ants are nature's powerlifters and our own ANT is no exception. It boasts a 15 kg payload, backlash-free harmonic drive, dual axis encoders, it even fits inside it's own tripod which also functions as the transport case.

The entire system fits inside a 12 cm diameter x 40 cm tube and weighs under 5 kg, thanks to the carbon fiber/aerospace aluminium construction. An optional 5 kg ballast weight is shown under the tripod. This is small and light enough to go in a backpack, airline carry-on luggage, long hikes, etc. There's even room inside to store accessories and an optional powerbank.
